HINSDALE — Conservation Commission addresses lily pad growth and lake management at routine meeting. Chair Ken Boudreau and members Ray Huntoon and Richard Littlefield, along with Conservation Agent Mia Giardina, heard public input about lily pad proliferation near residential docks. The Commission determined a proposed project would be nonjurisdictional and discussed renewal of existing Orders affecting Plunkett and Ashmere Lake.

The board determined that hand removal of lily pads is permissible in areas obstructing recreational use.
