HINSDALE — Council on Aging approves June and July accounts as town account fully depletes. The council unanimously approved both accounts at the July 13 meeting, with Treasurer Jennifer Stark reporting the town account balance has reached zero. Stark noted that members can request additional funding from the Select Board if future needs arise.
The council planned an extensive fall and winter event series featuring outside speakers, including a July 16 cardiac care presentation from Berkshire Health Systems, a September maple-sugaring program with speaker Dan Kauffman, and an October Susan B. Anthony characterization. The council's town account is now fully spent.
