Council on Aging approves donations, accepts grant for senior craft series

Hinsdale Council on Aging approves Christmas donations rounded to $200 for food pantry. Treasurer Jennifer Stark reported the board unanimously backed the donation to the Hinsdale Food Pantry and accepted a $2,000 Berkshire County Community Foundation grant designated for Amanda Raymond's six-week creative and mindful craft series for seniors, launching February 2 at Town Hall from 1 to 2 PM Mondays, free to attendees with all materials covered. Assistant Superintendent Aaron Robb presented a community engagement proposal pairing students with seniors for classroom talks and mentoring in area history and elementary reading support.
