Council on Aging · Meeting of April 13, 2026

Hinsdale Council on Aging approves secretary and treasurer reports, shifts newsletter to regional vendor. The board adopted a new design and mailing contract with LPI of Cromwell, Connecticut--reducing postage costs to two-thirds of current spending and shifting to an ad-supported model matching those used by Adams and North Adams. Jim Alden will lead a team viewing of Massachusetts Council on Aging CANVA instructional videos; the redesigned newsletter debuts in September.

The board also confirmed monthly blood pressure clinics beginning in May, scheduled senior luncheons through November, and endorsed a student-led intergenerational games and crafts event on April 25.
