Council on Aging approves May treasurer's report, plans fall yoga class

Hinsdale/Peru Council on Aging approves treasurer's report and charts fall programming. The board unanimously accepted the May 11 treasurer's report confirming receipt of state funds and town account balances requiring June 30 expenditure. A four-week afternoon yoga class will run Thursday evenings from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. starting September 10 at the old town hall, taught by Cheryl Cucinello at seventy-five dollars per session with a three-dollar participant fee.
The council scheduled speakers and performers through November, including a Super Senior Party on May 14, Roger Tincknell for a sing-along June 11, and a six-piece band in August. Jim Alden is producing a June newsletter using CANVA software trained by LPI company.
