Hinsdale sees 13 deed filings but just three sale prices disclosed
Hinsdale recorded 13 property deed filings between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only three disclosed a sale price: $75,000 for 130 Plunkett Avenue, $85,000 for a condo unit at Ashmere Landings, and $265,000 for 17 Hemlock Lane, the period's top sale. The median of the disclosed prices was $85,000. Most other filings were mortgage discharges and assignments, municipal takings (including 73 Henry Drive and 146 New Windsor Road, both transferred to Hinsdale Town), and transfers within the same family or entity. With price data absent from 10 of 13 filings, the records offer only a partial view of market conditions this period.
