Lake Management Committee approves April meeting, defers Solitude survey refund question.

HINSDALE — The Hinsdale Lake Management Committee approved January minutes and confirmed an April 7 meeting, skipping March. Monica Montferret, chair, reported stable conditions at Plunkett Lake and continuing aeration at Ashmere, and said she has posed questions to Solitude contractor Dominic about the cost and chemicals for phragmites and water lily treatment, plus comprehensive water quality testing, after Solitude failed to complete a required July 2025 post-treatment survey. The committee approved a draft letter to Camp Taconic and directed Montferret and Secretary Duane Bruce to draft an invitation to camps and lake associations for a meeting tentatively set for June 2 or 8.
