Lake Management Committee reviews winter levels, bubbler regulations, and lake treatment needs.

HINSDALE — The Hinsdale Lake Management Committee discussed winter lake conditions and regulatory questions about winter bubblers. Committee Chair Monica Montferret reported gaps in Solitude Lake Management's Year End Report regarding phragmites and lily pads at Ashmere Lake and will request comprehensive water quality testing and pricing. The Committee will await the Conservation Commission's interpretation of a Department of Environmental Protection decision on bubbler permitting before deciding on a town bylaw.

The Committee rescheduled its next meeting to Tuesday, February 3.
