Hinsdale Library Board approves cleaning and bylaws in spring meeting. Interim Director Sarah Welch reported new hire Stacey Whitney and upcoming bi-weekly story hours, author talks, and movie nights; the board unanimously approved a $200 cleaning quote and a $750 withdrawal from the Ziphren fund for Summer Reading. The trustees adopted an amended attendance bylaw and advanced planning for an Annual Bake and Book Sale on May 2-3, which will feature a scratch ticket raffle at $1 per ticket.
Board member Tom Butler reported that a director position requires a bachelor's degree and population verification; the opening will be posted on the Hinsdale Website and through additional channels.
