HINSDALE — Library trustees approve fiscal 2027 budget scenario three. The Hinsdale Board of Library Trustees voted unanimously to adopt Interim Director Sarah Welch's budget proposal at the February 3 meeting, following heating improvements and the recent hire of assistant Lelia Gillespie. All seven trustees present also unanimously approved continuing website redesign exploration through Erin Murphy Design, expected to take one month.
The board discussed outdoor events, teen programming, committee formation, and staff development for the expanded biweekly story hour and proposed popcorn machine.
