HINSDALE — Library board's annual meeting elects Mason chair, defers movie program. The Hinsdale Library Board of Trustees elected Vivian Mason as chair, Down Frissell as secretary, and Marge Filkins as treasurer in unanimous votes. Interim Director Sarah Welch reported the board is recruiting a permanent director, with two resumes received including a local candidate and an interview planned with Sheri Ann Stanton.
Board member David Mickenberg raised building safety concerns, recommending the library suspend its movie program until safety issues are fully addressed.
