HINSDALE — Select Board hears school bus safety concerns without recorded vote. Residents Ryen and Emily Quail complained to Chair Margaret Gregory and members Bart Collins and Ray Huntoon that drivers ignore a special-needs van with dim lights on Main Street, requesting more police presence and clearer signage. In reports, Town Administrator Bob Graves said a conservation agent position is advertised and police contract work is underway, while DPW Superintendent James Callahan noted a New Windsor Road culvert proposal at roughly $650,000 and said road closure signs will address muddy-road complaints on Buttermilk Road.
