Hinsdale Select Board unanimously appoints substitute library assistant and approves business certificate. Ray Huntoon and Bart Collins voted to approve Stacey Whitney's appointment as substitute library assistant and a business certificate for James and Jennifer Crane at the March 25 meeting. Town Administrator Bob Graves reported 35 applications for the Conservation Agent position and said the town faces an 8 percent budget increase, with school costs consuming half the budget.
DPW Superintendent James Callahan reported another valve failure at the treatment plant and said the town will learn about a Chapter 90 grant application in April.
