Select Board · Meeting of May 13, 2026
Hinsdale Select Board approves Tucker's foundation business certificate and tables alternate appointment. The board unanimously approved a business certificate for Wyatt Tucker's foundation and waterproofing operation at its May 13 meeting, while postponing the appointment of Chair Margaret Gregory as a Berkshire Regional Planning Commission alternate. Town Administrator Bob Graves reported that Dalton's suspension of mutual-aid ties prompted Hinsdale to explore joining the Berkshire Regional Emergency Communications Center; Acting Chief Bruce Cullett confirmed the town would be welcomed.
DPW Superintendent James Callahan completed the sanitary survey, replaced overflow tank screening, and is coordinating with the Conservation Commission on the George Schnopp culvert dewatering plan, due mid-June. Graves also announced an impending sewer rate increase from Dalton, which the town will cover using reserves and report at the Annual Town Meeting.
