HINSDALE — Select Board continues acting sergeant pending broader police review. Acting Police Chief Bruce Cullett recommended permanent appointment of Acting Sergeant David Tarjick, who has managed records administration and firearms licensing since January. Board Member Margaret Gregory moved to continue Tarjick in the interim role at his current compensation, with the appointment decision deferred until a permanent police chief is named and broader departmental leadership questions are resolved.
The Board also unanimously approved a response to an Open Meeting Law complaint filed August 24 and tabled a Green Communities weatherization proposal for Town Hall pending further review.
