HINSDALE — Select Board schedules May 20 town meeting and approves police inter-municipal accord. Chair Margaret Gregory's board voted unanimously to set the Annual Town Meeting for May 20, 2026, with town elections on May 23, and approved an inter-municipal agreement allowing Peru's Police Chief Bruce Cullett to serve as Acting Police Chief of Hinsdale while Chief Boyne is on leave. The board also authorized the sale of surplus police Cruiser 652 and heard that a New Windsor Road reconstruction project will cost an estimated $1,777,098, requiring phased construction and additional grant applications.
Town Administrator Bob Graves reported that MA-DOT will fast-track repair of the Windsor Brook Bridge at state expense beginning this summer.
