Select Board upholds condemnation at 6 Country Road, grants extension at 85 Goodrich Street

Hinsdale Select Board acts on two condemned properties, upholds order on uninhabitable trailer. The board, acting as Board of Health, voted unanimously to uphold the condemnation at 6 Country Road and granted a 90-day cleanup extension at 85 Goodrich Street subject to monthly inspections by Health Agent Fred Sears. The board also unanimously appointed Chief Bruce Cullett as acting police chief and authorized Town Administrator Bob Graves to sign a renewed host community agreement with FFD Enterprises.
Town officials announced a Special Town Meeting scheduled for March 11 at 6 p.m. to address a school budget proposal requesting a 4.5 percent increase.
