Hinsdale Soccer has launched a privately funded campaign to build a new synthetic turf field at Centennial Field.

HINSDALE --

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Hinsdale Soccer is asking the community to help fund the Centennial Field Campaign, a privately funded effort to replace what the organization describes as subpar and inconsistent field conditions with a new synthetic turf surface. According to the group, the project is meant to give student athletes and the wider community a "consistently safe, reliable, and high-quality playing surface." Hinsdale Soccer says replacing the natural grass field with turf will "increase field accessibility, reduce weather-related cancellations, and create consistent playing conditions throughout the year." The organization is soliciting tax-deductible donations toward the project and directs questions to info@hinsdalesoccer.org.
